Hugill windows supply and fit, or supply only if required, Crittall Steel windows, Aluminium Windows and PVCu windows.
With our own directly employed fitters and in-house project managers, we give clients the assurance that they will get a suitable product, meticulously fitted and expertly managed. The fact that many of our clients come to us via recommendation is testament to the quality of our work.
We are a sister company of Fairhurst Ward Abbotts (FWA), which has been providing maintenance, minor works, refurbishment and painting & decorating services since the 1930s. This partnership allows us to take on and deliver larger, more extensive projects.
Crittall Windows
Hugill Windows has been the official distributor of Crittall windows for over 35 years. Our knowledge of this product is therefore second-to-none.
Crittal steel windows continue to be the product of choice for homeowners, businesses and local authorities who want to retain the existing character of their buildings.
They are sturdy too - all windows and doors are hot dipped galvanised against corrosion, all are weather-stripped and all are available double glazed and polyester powder coated. Usefully, while there is a set range of standard sizes, bespoke frames can be made to order.
As specialists in all models of Crittall steel windows, we frequently undertake repair works for local councils, private residential and commercial clients. Repairs normally consist of a simple ease and adjust to make the windows weather tight and improve the opening and closing of fanlights and casements.

Aluminium Windows
We offer a full supply and installation service for both domestic and commercial Aluminium window systems. We also offer a repairs service, which replaces glass units, hinges and locks and adjusts the various components to secure a longer life span.
Aluminium windows are a good alternative to PVCu. They have a smaller frame section than PVCu, allowing more light to enter the building.
They can be internally glazed for increased security and custom made to your specification. The range includes Aluminium, white powder coated or a paint finish of your choice.

PVCu Windows
We supply and install PVCu systems in residential and commercial property.
PVCu windows are low maintenance and highly insulated from the cold and noise. This makes them the most cost-effective solution for replacing old and draughty windows. Their security level can also be enhanced through internal glazing.
A wide range of finishes are available. The PVCu range consists of white and wood grain finishes, such as Mahogany, Oak or Cherry, and each frame is made bespoke for its location.
We also undertake repairs to PVCu windows and doors. We re-glaze broken glass units, replace handles, hinges and locks, and make adjustments to ensure a longer life span.
